Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G smartphone launched with Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset and 144Hz AMOLED display

Tecno has introduced its latest Pova 7 series smartphones globally. There are a total of five devices in the Pova 7 series: top model Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G, Pova 7 Pro 5G, Pova 7 5G, Pova Curve 5G, and the base model Pova 7. The Ultra variant comes with MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, 144 Hz AMOLED display, and a large 6,000 mAh battery.

Tecno, a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings, has unveiled its next-generation Pova 7 series smartphones globally. Coming as the successor to the Pova 6 series, this series comes with many upgrades ranging from new futuristic and minimalist design to high-performance hardware. 

Tecno has launched a total of five phones under the Pova 7 series – which includes the top model Pova 7 Ultra 5G, Pova 7 Pro 5G, Pova 7 5G, Pova Curve 5G, and the base model Pova 7.

The Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, which was also seen in the recently launched Infinix GT 30 Pro. It has a large 6,000 mAh battery that supports 70W wired, 30W wireless, and 10W reverse charging.

Along with this, Tecno has also given a 12-layer hyper cooling system in the Pova 7 Ultra, which keeps the phone cool during long gaming sessions.

Apart from this, the phone also has 4D gaming vibration, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, and many customized gaming features. Tecno has given a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display in Pova 7 Ultra 5G, which provides a refresh rate of 144 Hz and peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits.

The Pova 7 series comes with Tecno’s new interstellar spaceship-inspired design. There is also a mini-LED status light around the camera housing that provides customizable lighting effects for calls, notifications and gaming.

Other features include FreeLink (for peer-to-peer calls) and Tecno’s AI suite, which includes options like AI Writing, AI Studio Tools and Circle to Search.

Tecno has not yet revealed the detailed specs (like camera, dimensions, software) and pricing of the Pova 7 series. As soon as the complete spec sheet and price details are available, we will update the article.
