OnePlus has confirmed the launch of the OnePlus Nord 5 smartphone on 8th July. Today the company has also officially confirmed the camera specifications of the phone. This phone is going to get noticeable improvements in performance and imaging capabilities compared to Nord 4. Which is always the best when compared to any phone.
OnePlus Nord 5 Camera Features
This OnePlus phone has a dual 50MP Ultra-Clear camera system, which is available on both front and rear sides. The rear camera uses the LYT-700 sensor, which was previously seen in the OnePlus 13R and OnePlus 13s. Its aim is to bring flagship-level imaging experience to the Nord lineup as well.
According to the company, this system uses the HDR algorithm of OnePlus 13, which significantly improves color reproduction and detailing, especially in low-light conditions.
The device will also enhance portrait and group photography, which will give natural skin tones and less noise. Along with this, an 8MP 116° ultra-wide lens has also been given in the phone. which is quite good
For the front camera, the Nord 5 smartphone has a 50MP JN5 sensor, which is usually seen in premium flagship devices. Its front camera also supports hardware multi-focusing (autofocus), which will maintain clarity even in different lighting conditions.
The Nord 5 also gets upgraded Live Photo functionality, which has Ultra HDR support. With this, you can capture 3-second motion shots. This feature records movement 1.5 seconds before and after pressing the shutter, and renders the cover photo in Ultra HDR quality.
Apart from this, you can do 4K video recording at 60fps with both the front and rear cameras of OnePlus Nord 5.
OnePlus Nord 5 Processor Features
OnePlus has already confirmed that the Nord 5 will run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, feature LPDDR5X RAM, and flagship-grade graphene thermals with a 7300 mm² VC cooling area, just like the OnePlus 13. This setup provides an efficiency of 1,800W/m-K.
The phone will support Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) at 90fps natively, and can boost performance to 144fps with frame interpolation. The phone will also run Call of Duty Mobile natively at 144fps.
