SAMSUNG is rolling out a new software update for its SAMSUNG Galaxy A53 5G. This update brings the June 2025 security patch, which fixes several security issues.
Last month, SAMSUNG released a software update for the SAMSUNG Galaxy A53 5G, which brought the much-awaited Android 15-based One UI 7.0. Many new features also arrived with this update. Along with this, the security patch of May 2025 was also given in this update.
Now South Korean tech giant SAMSUNG is rolling out a new software update for Galaxy A53 5G, which comes with the security patch of June 2025. This update makes the device more secure and fixes many security issues.
SAMSUNG is rolling out this update for international and European variants with model numbers SM-A536B and SM-A536E. The new firmware versions for these devices are A536BXXSFFYEA and A536EXXSFFYEA.
You can get this update by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install, or you can manually download the firmware from our firmware section and install it using Odin.
The SAMSUNG Galaxy A53 5G is eligible for Android 16 (OnePi 8) update.

Samsung is testing Android 16-based One UI 8.0 on its Galaxy S25 series, which comes with several new features. As soon as the testing is complete, the company will start rolling out the stable version to all eligible devices. The Galaxy A53 5G is also eligible for this update.
But it is possible that this update may first reach newer and high-end devices, before rolling it out to older and affordable devices. So, there is little hope of Galaxy A53 5G getting the One UI 8 update anytime soon.
