Motorola is preparing to launch a new mobile phone in India, which is coming after the recent launch of Motorola Edge 60. The company has started teasing a new device, which almost seems to be a part of its G-series.
Although Motorola has not yet officially confirmed the model name or release date, but according to the details coming from Flipkart and various leaks, it seems that this upcoming phone could be the Moto G96 5G.
Moto G96 5G: Launch Date, Price and Colour Options (Expected)
According to recent leaks and rumours, the upcoming smartphone could be the Motorola G96 5G. Motorola is yet to officially confirm the launch date, but if reports are to be believed, the device could launch in India next month.
According to earlier Android Headlines reports, the price of this phone could be around ₹22,000. The upcoming handset will be available in multiple colour options, including Green, Blue, Pink, and Teal Blue.
Moto G96 5G: Key Specifications and Features (Expected)
Flipkart’s teaser images have revealed that the Moto G96 5G will feature a dual rear camera setup, arranged vertically in two circular modules. The back panel of the phone may feature a vegan leather finish, giving it a different look.
Talking about the front display, it will have a quad-curved design and a punch-hole camera in the middle for selfies. Apart from this, according to rumors, the device will have a 6.67-inch display, which will support 144Hz refresh rate.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset is expected to be given inside the Moto G96 5G. The device can get 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This phone will run on Android 15, in which Motorola’s Hello UI overlay will be seen.
Talking about optics, it can be given a 50MP Sony Lytia 700C primary camera, which will come along with an 8MP macro camera. There are less chances of getting an ultra-wide lens in the secondary camera setup. Also, the phone is expected to get a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calling.
Apart from this, Moto G96 5G can get a 5,500mAh battery which will come with 68W fast charging support. Reports also suggest that the phone can have IP68 rating, which will make it dust and water resistant.
Along with this, Motorola’s Smart Connect feature can also be found in the device, through which seamless syncing between the phone and Lenovo PCs will be possible.
